The High Horse

There is no greater quality than humility. Though rarely pursued in this day and age it is the what truly separates people into greatness. Humility is simply thinking of others, or putting others before yourself in all decisions and actions that you take. It's not taking advantage of someone when you have the chance. It's accepting others for who they are because you know the shortcomings you possess. Take a good look at yourself today. Humility begins with self-awareness. When you see yourself for who you are, you'll realize just how much you need to change.

“Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

Likewise submit to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed in humility for god resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of god, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
1 Peter 4: 1-7
